Week 7: Seperation Weekend?
In the Right Division, the underdogs all won to keep the middle closer and keep Flannel from clinching the playoffs for another couple weeks. In the Left and Middle Divisions the better records all won to create a gap between the top and bottom teams in those divisions.
(2-5) Hamburglers 36 @ (3-4) Ramjets 35
Roethlisburger and Cotchery power a strong offensive performance but the Hamburgler defense kept this close with another poor outing. Ramjets probably would have had another strong all-around outing and win but Stover put up only 2 pts to lose by a hair.
Ramjets by 1.5
Next week: Hamburglers host Rednecks; Ramjets host Old No. 7
(3-4) Capo 52 @ (6-1) Flannel 26
Well the public calling-out worked for Capo with a huge effort not seen since week 2 from this team. Flannel played well, but the defense wasn't up to this challenge as CAPO ran away with it. Flannel lost a chance to break out a 4-game division lead at the half-way mark.
Flannel by 10
Next week: Capo host Bill; Flannel host Malleus
(5-2) Beavers 36 @ (2-3-2) Malleus 11
I guess it was bound to happen. Malleus scored fewer then 60 combined for the first time this season and a solid Beaver outing produced their third win in a row and 5th in a row against out of division opponents.
Malleus by 7.5
Next week: Beavers at Mimes; Malleus at Flannel
(2-5) Mimes 34 @ (5-2) Old No. 7 38
Really? Brian Griese rides to Old No. 7's rescue with a big game to keep Old No. 7 perfect against out of division opponents. This was Old No. 7's best offensive game since Delhomme fell. This was easily Mime's best game since week 3, but it comes to naught.
Mimes by 5
Next week: Mimes host Beavers; Old No. 7 visit Ramjets
(4-3) Drow 18 @ (1-5-1) Bill 0
Two of the better defenses in the league showed their stuff but Bill complimented that defense with the worst offensive performance by any team so far this year (1 pt worse then Mimes last week) while the Drow put together their first back-to-back good offensive games of the season.
Drow by 22
Next week: Drow at Brawlers; Bill at Capo
(2-4-1) Brawlers 0 @ (5-2) Rednecks 76
Apparently 33 was a little too conservative. I'll make a note of that for Rednecks' line next week. For the second time in two weeks, a single player would have defeated the entire opponent's team. This time, it wasn't even close, as Brady's 45 nearly laps Brawlers 26 combined.
Rednecks by 33
Next week: Brawlers host Drow; Rednecks +40 at Hamburglers

I knew it! 33 point Vegas line. You are out to get me.
If only I can figure out how to rank more then 1 team #1 every week, I might be able to win the FLOF Bowl this year.
