Week 3 Rankings
You asked for it! FLOF's first ever in-season rankings. Let the fur fly.
1) Beavers: Very consistent so far. Especially on offense. Never scoring less then 53 pts on offense in a game. If that was the real McNabb in week 3 they're only concern is injury and the rookie wall. Preseason rank: 6
2) Old No. 7: When their offense is clicking, it might actually be better then Beavers. Delhomme has come out of nowhere to compliment their receivers. Preseason rank: 9
3) Brawlers: Wow, both expansion teams in the top 3! Best QB pt/gm average in FLOF? Brawler 5th round draft pick, Brett Favre. Preseason rank: 8
4) Malleus: Hard to believe this was the Lightning last year. This offense has the makings of an explosion we just haven't seen yet. Preseason rank: 12
5) Mimes: I'm not even sure they belong this far up the rankings. The offense does not look like it will be able to maintain the scores we've seen from them so far. Preseason rank: 11
6) Flannel: This team has decent offensive potential, but depth will be a concern heading into the bye weeks. Undefeated, yes. But against the 3 worst teams in FLOF. Preseason rank: 3
7) Capo: They looked like the 2006 version in week 2, but not week 1 or week 3. Have they tinkered too much with the Deadheads? Going to Romo should help. A lot. Preseason rank: 2
8) Bill: Decently consistent, screwy results. They lost their best outing and won their worst. They need more from the offense other then Palmer. Preseason rank: 1
9) Hamburglers: This team has been all over the map since their big week 1 performance. That may continue until Tomlinson gets back to his old ways. Preseason rank: 5
10) Rednecks: Normally I like consistency. But not when you're consistently 10 pts below the FLOF average. Another team sunk by a top RB that isn't producing. Preseason rank: 4
11) Drow: The offense may never be good enough and with the offensive explosion this year, defense will win few games. Funniest trade discussion that didn't happen: Larry Johnson for Steven Jackson. Preseason rank: 7
12) Ramjets: The offense finally showed signs of life last week only to have the defense collapse. 3rd week in a row as the second lowest scoring team. Preseason rank: 10
