Week 4: Beavers fall, Brawlers climb to top; Flannel stays perfect; Capo and Rednecks roll
Two weeks of Left Division battles saw former division leaders Beavers and Mimes lose both while winless Brawlers and Drow win both. Meanwhile the Right Division split their games against the Middle Division this week after going 1-3 last week.
18 Brawlers (2-1-1) @ 12 Mimes (1-3)
Brawlers and Mimes had very similar seasons heading into this game: both had a bad week 1 followed by 2 strong outings that only resulted in 1 win each. The parallels continued with a poor outing for both teams, but Brawlers D eeked out a win and first place in the Left.
Vegas Line: Brawlers by 3
Next week: Brawlers at Flannel; Mimes at Capo
18 Drow (2-2) @ 0 Beavers (2-2)
Vegas curse is alive and well. Clavin Johnson doesn't play due to injury. McNabb's week 3 is now looking like an aberration. Drow's offense did just enough to let their defense win it for them again.
Vegas Line: Beavers by 20 -- updated
Next week: Drow at Ramjets; Beavers at Hamburglers
23 Flannel (4-0) @ 19 Bill (1-2-1)
In the best game of the week, both teams produced the solid results we expect from them. Bill held a 4 pt lead heading into Monday night, but Stephen Gostkowski produced 10 pts for Flannel while Carson Palmer put up only 6. Flannel stay the only unbeaten in FLOF.
Vegas Line: Flannel by 4
Next week: Flannel host Brawlers; Bill host Rednecks
52 Capo (2-2) @ 30 Malleus (1-1-2)
Capo's offense exploded for the second time in three weeks for a lopsided win behind Romo's 33. Perhaps Malleus have been the one's tinkering too much. Although injuries to Burress and Harrison did not seem to help their cause.
Vegas Line: Capo by 0.5
Next week: Capo host Mimes; Malleus host Old No. 7
10 Hamburglers (1-3) @ 24 Old No. 7 (3-1)
LDT's back. Unfortunately, Old No. 7 put up a huge defensive effort for the team's third win in a row. Old No. 7 now lead the Middle Division.
Vegas Line: Old No. 7 by 5.5
Next week: Hamburglers host Beavers; Old No. 7 visit Malleus
15 Ramjets (1-3) @ 36 Rednecks (2-2)
Proving that the Vegas curse can be beat, Rednecks don't quite get to +30, but +21 ain't bad. Tom Brady wasn't even needed in this game after Ramjets' offensive players posted 1 double digit score among them.
Vegas Line: Rednecks by 30 (Sorry, John. I couldn't help myself.)
Next week: Ramjets host Drow; Rednecks visit Bill

I'm not sure the Curse of Vegas Line applies when the commish puts in on the team HE is playing.
Can't Hurt.
