Week 6 Notes

Beavers and Old No. 7 still have not lost a game outside their division. Nor have they won one inside their division. They both at least share their division leads. Mimes have now lost 5 consecutive home games dating back to last season, tieing a franchise record. Flannel have now won 6 consecutive games, 2 shy of the FLOF record. Hamburglers have now lost 5 consecutive games, also 2 shy of the record.

Adrian Peterson's 47 was the most pts by a FLOF player since Clinton Portis put up 46 for Rednecks in 2003. Tomlinson's 45 was the third best pts total ever. Ironically, when Portis broke the record in 2003, Jeff Garcia scored 42 that week which was the third best total ever until today.

Matt Stover's 18 pts was the best from a kicker this year. And Sean Taylor's 25 tied Aaron Ross' score from last week as the best DB score of the year.

The Drow-Malleus game produced the second highest combined score in FLOF history (123, second to a 75 - 71 game in 1997, BYE over Ramjets). Drow's 89 offensive points were the 7th most ever. Beavers' 73 point score was the 7th highest score in FLOF history and tied his franchise record. The 62 point margin of victory was the tenth highest ever. Ramjets' 48 defensive pts tie for 8th best ever in FLOF.

Brett Favre scored 16 pts below his season average this week in a game Brawlers lost by 9, earning Goat of the Week honors.
