Week 6: Flannel's Magic Number is 7; Beavers and Old No. 7 still perfect; Ramjets and Drow back from the dead?
With the half-way mark just around the corner, some front runners are starting to break out. Beavers, Rednecks, and Old No. 7 break out from the pack in pursuit of Flannel with wins. Bill and Hamburglers keep loosing. The rest of the league is a messy pack.
49 Flannel (6-0) @ 46 Hamburglers (1-5)
Well. Tomlinson is back. 45 pts back. But David Carr misses the team bus, the defense plays bad, and Jeff Wilkins gets little. Flannel win another squeeker. They've won their last 2 games by a combined 5 pts and their last 4 by 7 or less each.

Next week: Flannel hosts Capo; Hamburglers visit Ramjets
39 Ramjets (3-3) @ 1 Capo (2-4)
Capo put in the solid effort I was expecting. 113 combined pts from Ramjets, I was not expecting. They didn't score 113 combined their last 2 games. Braylon Edwards and Sean Taylor were the big guns for the Ramjets.

Next week: Ramjets host Hamburglers; Capo visits Export
18 Old No. 7 (4-2) @ 9 Brawlers (2-3-1)
I know it still counts as a win, but Old No. 7 didn't get any style points for this one. Brawlers manage to crack 30 pts on offense but throw up single digits on defense. We may have found our new #12 in the rankings. Oh, Old No. 7 still hasn't lost outside their division.

Next week: Old No. 7 hosts Mimes; Brawlers visit Rednecks
11 Bill (1-4-1) @ 73 Beavers (4-2)
Clearly the fantasy football gods have seen through my efforts to use the Vegas line kybosh to prove that my rankings of Bill are justified. Adrian Peterson's 47 pts were the most ever by a player in FLOF history. Beavers could have just played Peterson and still won. No, seriously. It would have been 41 - 34 Beavers. Beavers still haven't lost outside their division and Bill may finally have earned himself some honest karma.
Bill by 9 I mean, Beavers by 1 (sorry Bill, forgot)
Next week: Bill hosts Drow; Beavers visit Malleus
59 Rednecks (4-2) @ 0 Mimes (2-4)
Rivers only barely scored positive points. Brady exploded for 39 and LJ had another solid game. Oh, and the Redneck WRs scored 14 to help extend Rednecks' win streak to 3 and keep a share of the Middle Division lead.
Mimes by 6
Next week: Rednecks host Brawlers; Mimes visit Old No. 7
53 Malleus (2-2-2) @ 70 Drow (3-3)
Malleus took offense to my saying they had no explosiveness. Unfortunately for them, Jones-Drew led Drow's merry offense to the best output of the season for any team (86 pts). Perhaps I need to take my own team a little more seriously. Those two ties at the beginning of the season were funny when they happened but Malleus now has 4 scores over the mean, only 1 of which has resulted in a win.
