Week 8 Notes
As previously noted Vrabel's 36 were the most points ever scored by a defensive player in FLOF, topping 2 other DFs who had scored 34 (Donnie Edwards for Deadheads in 2004, Joey Porter for Flannel in 2002).
Tom Brady's second consecutive Offensive Player of the Week award was also the 4th in his FLOF career. This continues perhaps the greatest 3-game run in FLOF history. Brady's last three games have all been top 10 all-time QB scores.
Roger picked up his 75th career win this week. Beavers won their fourth straight and own the best active winning streak in FLOF. Bill has lost their last 5 games for the longest active losing streak. Mimes have lost their last 6 home games dating back to last year.
This week, Brett Favre became the 4th player to eclipse 1,000 career FLOF pts. Manning, McNabb, and Tomlinson being the other three.
Malleus are now at 18 trades, tied for the most ever in a single season. I guess its just a matter of how much the record will be broken by.
If the playoffs ended today:
1) Flannel (7-1)
2) Beavers (6-2)
3) Rednecks (5-3) -- wins division due to head-to-head
4) Old No. 7 (5-3)
5) Ramjets (4-4) -- 2nd wild card due to better head-to-head
6) Capo (4-4) -- 3rd wild card due to better power rating
out by 5th tie-breaker) Drow (4-4)
1/2 game back) Brawlers (3-4-1)
1 game back) Hamburglers (3-5)
) Malleus (2-4-2)
11) Mimes (2-6)
12) Bill (1-6-1)

The Beavers would like to note that with their victory they have moved to .500 as a franchise. 69-69-4. Awesome!
18 trades? it like Bish never left...imagine if he were still in the league...good lord Doug would never get any rest...constant roster updates...
