Mid-Season Awards
Coach of the Year: Doug. Preseason rank of 7th. Now 4-3 and ranked 3rd this week (for what that's worth) and all without Steven Jackson.
Runner Up: Haydn. Preseason rank of 12th. Has wheeled and dealed his way to only 1 game below .500.
MVP: Tom Brady. Has anyone noticed that Brady is averaging just under 30 pts per game? Peyton averaged 26 per game in 2004, but that's the only other time we've seen anything like this.
Runner Up: Peyton Manning. I'm not sure it matters. Brady could tank the rest of the season and still might win this.
Offensive MVP: See above.
Defensive MVP: Julian Peterson. Already has 75 pts this season.
Runners-Up: Sean Taylor actually has a better per game average (over 11) in fewer games. Terrence McGee is the third defender with 4 or more games played averaging double digits so far this year.
If the Playoffs Started Today:
1. Flannel
2. Beavers
3. Rednecks
4. Old No. 7
5. Drow
6. Ramjets
out by tie-breakers:
7. Capo
8. Malleus
