Week 8 recap
I am back from vacation and week 8 is
officially in the books. No predictions to cover this week though.
Dynasty
down Rednecks
The Good: The defense saves the day for
Dynasty, with Lavonte Davis leading the charge.
The Bad: Neither team impressed with the
offense this week. Playing another team, Dynasty would have lost.
The Ugly: The QB position has produced -6
points in 2 weeks for the Rednecks. In related news, Mike Vick has played his
last game for the Rednecks.
Bill
blasts Capo
The Good: Cam Newton has been hot the last
few weeks and that continued this week.
The Bad: Tom Brady just isn't a reliable
starter right now.
The Ugly: But hey, Drew Brees did really well.
Oh, never mind.
Hamburglers
blank No. 7
The Good: DeAngelo Hall and Payton Manning.
That was about it.
The Bad: Old No. 7 didn't give himself
much of a chance, missing a WR, DF, and DB this week.
The Ugly: Even with a full roster, it
probably wouldn't have done much for No. 7.
Mimes
edge Malleus
The Good: Both offense this week were pretty
good, led by Kaepernick and Brees.
The Bad: With 6 total point, the defense
almost doomed a solid offensive showing from the Mimes.
The Ugly: Malleus finally gets a QB that
is scoring points. And still cannot get a W.
Drow
crushs Capo
The Good: All around solid effort on both
sides from the undefeated Drow.
The Bad: An incomplete squad didn't help
the Maniacs. Neither did Lynch or Jackson (see about about Philly starters).
The Ugly: A full squad wouldn't have helped
anyway.
Lagers
smack the Bronies
The Good: Stafford and Johnson both posted
huge numbers.
The Bad: Robert Griffin hampers an otherwise
decent outing from the Bronies.
The Ugly: Bryce Brown was no Arian Foster.
Starting any offensive players from Philly probably isn't the way to win many
games.
