Week 5 Preview

Hopefully this week’s prediction are better than last’s.

Massaponnax Maniacs (2-2) @ Bill's Team (2-2)

T.J. Ward got Bill going this week with a pick-6 in last night’s game. It’s a great start, but I don’t think it’s going to be quite enough to blunt a pretty good Maniacs team.

Prediction:  Maniacs get just enough on offense.

Maniacs 26 – Bill 20

 

Medicine Hat Bronies (2-2) @ Rednecks (1-3)

The Bronies look to rebound from last week showing. The Rednecks should be just the thing. I actually like some of my matchups this weekend, but the Bronies look better.

Prediction:  Bronies keep pace in the ultra-competitive Left.

Bronies 34 – Rednecks 24

Old No. 7 (1-3) @ Capo Di Tutti Capi (2-2)

Drew Brees vs. Payton Manning! Neither team posted much to talk about last night. On paper, the bottle should win. I think Capo wins anyway.

Prediction: After this week, Capo is over .500.

Capo 38 – Old No. 7 31

 

Dynasty (3-1) @ Malleus Maleficarum (1-3)

Although Dynasty has a winning record, on paper the Malleus team is stronger, at least on defense. That is exactly what I think this game will come down to for Haydn.

Prediction:  Malleus improves to 2-3.

Malleus 28 – Dynasty 22

 

Drow (4-0) @ Mighty Midtowne Mimes (1-3)

The Drow have been teetering on the edge for the last 2 week just waiting for someone to pick them off.  This week they rebound (as much as an undefeated team can) and easily take care of a Mimes team that cannot seem to find much in the way of offense.

Prediction:  Drow cruises to 5-0.

Drow 40 – Mimes 18

 

Iron City Lagers (3-1) @ N.Y. Hamburglers (2-2)

This game features two of the best teams in the league. I think this ends up being a shootout with the Lagers coming out on the better end.

Prediction:  Lagers gets win #4.
