Week 7 Preview
Last night’s opening game produced a few decent
scores for their owners, but nothing significant.
Bill's
Team (4-2) @ Dynasty (4-2)
These 2
teams are pretty evenly matched, from their records to their power ratings. The
difference between them is Dynasty carries a better offense, while Bill has a
better D. In cases where I it is too close to call, I usually take the team
with the better offense. Not this time.
Prediction: Bill steals one from Dynasty.
Bill 26 –
Dynasty 22
Rednecks
(2-4) @ Capo Di Tutti Capi (2-4)
Not sure
what to make of this game. It looks like another pretty evenly match contest.
Looking at the match ups, I like my WR’s to rebound after a poor week and pull
this one out.
Prediction: Rednecks edge Capo.
Rednecks 20
– Capo 17
Mighty
Midtowne Mimes (1-5) @ Old No. 7 (2-4)
These 2 teams may have similar records, but
their power rating says they are on other ends of the spectrum. The Mimes have
a better D, and I don’t know if Jason will have a full lineup ready to go, but
I don’t think that matters with Manning’s homecoming game coming this weekend.
Prediction:
Old No. 7 wins as Manning scores
over 40.
Old No. 7
30 – Mimes 14
N.Y.
Hamburglers (4-2) @ Malleus Maleficarum (1-5)
Despite the 1-5 record, Malleus is a dangerous
team. After looking at the match up, I think Haydn can give Jamie a run for his
money. But in the end, I think Malleus comes up just a bit short.
Prediction:
Hamburglers improve to 5-2.
Hamburglers
25 – Malleus 21
Massaponnax
Maniacs (3-3) @ Drow (6-0)
The Maniacs opened with 3 players last night,
including the QB and RB positions, with netted 16 points. That isn’t going to
be near enough to upend the Drow.
Prediction: Drow still remains undefeated.
Drow 40 –
Maniacs 10
Medicine
Hat Bronies (3-3) @ Iron City Lagers (4-2)
The Lagers and Bronies look to keep pace in
the tough Left division. I think the scoring may be down a tad for what the
Lagers are used to, but then again, I don’t think the Bronies have the match ups
this week to take them out.
Prediction: Lagers
win at home.
Lagers 34
– Bronies 27
