Week 4 Preview

Mighty Midtowne Mimes (1-2) @ Massaponnax Maniacs (1-2)

As far as the Power Rankings are concerns, this is a match up between the bottom 2 teams in the league, with the Maniacs dead last in defensive power, and the Mimes last in offense. Personally, I don’t think anyone scores a lot here, but I tend to favor the teams with the better offensive match ups.

Prediction:  Advantage, Maniacs.

Maniacs 23 – Mimes 18

 

N.Y. Hamburglers (2-1) @ Medicine Hat Bronies (1-2)

The Bronies are off to a good start from last night’s game, with Gore chalking up 23. For some reason I like this game to put up a big score. In the end, I like the Hamburglers to put up enough of a defensive showing to put them over the top.

Prediction:  Hamburglers advance to 3-1.

Capo Di Tutti Capi (1-2) @ Dynasty (3-0)

Not sure what to make of this one. I think this game will be close and not particularly a high scoring affair. I almost want to call the upset here for Capo, but I just don’t think he has the firepower to get it done this week.

Prediction: Dynasty remains undefeated.

Dynasty 23 – Capo 17

 

Malleus Maleficarum (1-2) @ Old No. 7 (0-3)

Malleus has already dropped 18 on No. 7 via a big game last night from Bowman. The Bottle has yet to notch a win, and I don’t think one is coming this week either.

Prediction:  Manning scores over 40 and No. 7 loses anyway. Again.

Malleus 38 – Old No. 7 25

 

Bill's Team (2-1) @ Drow (3-0)

On paper, this game should be a blow out for the Drow. I am not seeing it that way. This is my upset special for the week.

Prediction:  Drow is no longer undefeated.

Bill 28 – Drow 26

 

Rednecks (1-2) @ Iron City Lagers (2-1)

This game features one of the best teams in the league against one of the worse. Of course, Dawson got the hot start I was hoping for with a big 5 points! I think this one is ugly real fast.

Prediction:  Lagers don’t even break a sweat this week.
