Week 6 Review
CAPO 64 - Ramjets 10
CAPO looks good when Drew Brees scores sick numbers of points. The CAPO D was weak but Ramjets laid an egg on both sides of the ball so it didn't really matter. The win keeps CAPO in the conversation and drops Ramjets back to 2nd in the Right.
Stars: Brees (36), Randy Moss (24)
Duds: Antwan Odom (0), Steve Smith (0)
Hamburglers 4 - Flannel 0
Flannel almost got the tie, which is probably about as good as they could have hoped given their depleted roster. The whole Flannel offense fell apart without Peyton Manning. Yet, Byron Leftwich managed to outscore Matt Hasselback. In any event, Ham get the win and the lead in the division while Flannel fall to the worst record in FLOF despite on of the better rosters.
Stars: Ryan Longwell (16), Darrelle Revis (11)
Duds: Matt Hasselback (-3), Antoine Winfield (0), Byron Leftwich (0), LeSean McCoy (0), Jeremy Maclin(0)
Rednecks 79 - Mimes 5
I believe a woodshed was involved. As if Tom Brady's record breaking day wasn't enough, five other Redneck scored in double digits. And to think, Mimes scored 40 on D this weekend. The win puts Rednecks back on top in the Middle Division. Mimes fall to .500.
Stars: Tom Brady (47), Maurice Jones-Drew (29), Eddie Royal (20), Mason Crosby (15), Julius Peppers (15), Elvis Dumervil (14), Antrel Rolle (10)
Duds: Julius Jones (0)
Lagers 65 - Malleus 51
Malleus still have not beat a team outside their division, but its not really their fault. Lagers continue to score points on offense like crazy and Malleus just could not keep pace and neither defense had much to say about it. Lagers have not lost in their last 3 games to get into contention for a playoff spot while Malleus drop back to the pack in their division.
Stars: DeAngelo Williams (27), Brett Favre (25), Ben Roethlisberger (23), Marques Colston (14), Hines Ward (13)
Duds: none
Bill 29 - Beavers 20
Most surprising result for my money. Beavers got some bad performances from their usual stars and Bill did just enough on offense to get a win. The loss drops Beavers back to within a game of a couple teams in the Left while Bill drops back to .500.
Stars: Larry Fitzgerald (11)
Duds: Chris Horton (0), Calvin Johnson (0), Adalius Thomas (0), Robbie Gould (2), Olindo Mare (3)
Drow 40 - Old No. 7 23
A decent game from Old No. 7 ruined by a strong performance from Drow. Drow made it dramatic by spotting Old No. 7 a lead heading into Monday night but had 4 players in that game do more then enough for the win. Drow pull themselves back to .500 and Old No. 7 drops to 2-4.
Stars: Joe Flacco (27), Nate Kaeding (13), David Akers (12), Asante Samuel (10), David Harris (10), D.J. Williams (10)
Duds: Matt Forte (-1)
For those keeping score at home. Yahoo and I were both 4-2 this week. I got Lagers right and Yahoo got Bill right. Yahoo is now 9-1 and I'm 8-4 over these last 2 weeks.
