Week 4 Review
Hamburglers 4 - Beavers 0
This was a week for defense and in this one, two superb outings almost ended the game in a 0-0 tie, but Hamburglers had just enough behind free agent of the year Steve Smith to get the win. Beavers actually has the lead going into Monday Night -- before Jared Allen put up 25 pts. Hamburglers are now the only undefeated team despite the asterick of as many ties as wins and claim the top stop in the Right. Beavers, remain first in the Left.
Hamburgler Grades: Offense D, Defense A+, Total A
Beaver Grades: Offense D, Defense B+, Total C-
Ramjets 17 - IC Lagers 17
This was the best performance from either team all year -- best offense, best defense, best total. And a tie is what they get out of it. Better than a loss, I guess. Lagers remain winless for FLOF, but continue to show that they will not stay that way. Ramjets drop 1/2 game behind Hamburglers in the Right division.
Ramjet Grades: Offense C+, Defense A+, Total A
Lager Grades: Offense B+, Defense B+, Total A
Flannel 30 - Drow 6
This was not a week for huge offensive performances, but Flannel got one with contributions from everyone. Drow did not with contributions from almost noone on offense. Flannel nearly put up 100 pts for the second week in a row to even their record at 2-2. Drow's total score this week wasn't terrible but certainly no match for Flannel as they drop to 1-3.
Flannel Grades: Offense A, Defense B+, Total A+
Drow Grades: Offense D, Defense A, Total B
Mimes 32 - CAPO 10
Mimes' offense bounced back from last week's debacle and put together enough of a game to make short work of CAPO's second dreadful outing in a row. CAPO didn't get a double digit contribution this weekend and they lose their second in a row to fall into the basement in the Right. Meanwhile, Mimes pull even with Beavers at 3-1 atop the Left Division.
Mime Grades: Offense B, Defense D, Total C
CAPO Grades: Offense F, Defense C, Total F
Old No. 7 21 - Rednecks 18
We are used to seeing poor performances from Old No. 7 lately, but Rednecks stunk it up just as well this week and the whiskey bottle took advantage of home field to pick up another win and part of the three way tie for first in the Middle Division. Old No. 7 have now won both of their division games.
Old No. 7 Grades: Offense D, Defense D, Total D
Redneck Grades: Offense D, Defense D, Total D
Malleus 21 - Bill 0
Malleus parlayed their second consecutive respectible outing into a second division win and a share of the division lead. Bill put together the worst offensive outing of the season for any team with a mear 16 pts.
Malleus Grades: Offense C, Defense B+, Total B
Bill Grades: Offense F-, Defense C, Total F-
