Week 3 Rankings
Looking Pretty Strong:
1. Beavers (no change)
Last week wasn't their best outing but they are still one of only a handful of teams to have two outstanding efforts out of the first three games.
2. Drow (up 4)
The offense performed for the second week in a row leading Drow to their second consecutive outstanding effort. Drow seem to have the offense to hang with Beavers but the defense has not been on that level yet.
3. Hamburglers (up 5)
Their outstanding effort this week echoes their decent week 1 effort but with a defense. Hamburglers seem like they have enough talent to compete with anyone.
4. Rednecks (no change)
The offense keeps getting better and it started out really good. The defense keeps getting better, but at this rate it will not be any good until the last couple weeks of the year.
5. Mimes (down 3)
This ranking drop isn't so much about this week's performance. Its more about the loss of Gore for some period of time. That's going to hurt. If Gore's right, I have no problem including this team in the top 3. If not, they could fall to the next grouping.
6. Flannel (up 6)
Flannel looked like a force this week after a sluggish start to the season a week after the season started. They could just as easily be in the next grouping, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here.
Have Shown Explosiveness But Not Consistancy
7. Bill (no change)
The offense didn't get it done this week after a huge performance last week. The defense is one of the best so far, but the O needs to help.
8. CAPO (down 5)
The offense took a complete nose-dive this week. You have to figure Brees will bounce back but last week's numbers would hurt almost any team's rankings. Don't be too distracted to notice that CAPO's defensive has been poor 2 weeks in a row.
9. Malleus (up 1)
Signs of life this week from Haydn's team. The offense has been getting stronger every week and they should have picked up a win this week. Then again, they probably should not have won week 1.
10. Old No. 7 (down 5)
The offense recovered a little from week 2's disappointing output but the defense regressed to compensate and the whiskey bottle's last two week point total (109) just barely tops week 1's output (105).
Not Looking Good:
11. IC Lagers (down 2)
After starting out pretty game, Lagers have slipped each week. This week could be chalked up to Westbrook's injury. But that may not help them in the future, unless Pierre Thomas can repeat this week's performance.
12. Ramjets (down 1)
I'm doubling down on Ramjets this week. Sure they are 2-1 and atop the Right Division, but they haven't scored more then 41 points on offense yet. The defense is decent, but not that good. Eventually this will catch up to Roger, or all of Bill's luck has rubbed off on him.
