Week 6 Preview
CAPO (1-3-1) @ Ramjets (3-1-1)
Before the season I predicted CAPO to be the best in the Right Division and Ramjets to be the worst. Instead, Ramjets lead the division and haven't lost since week 1. CAPO hasn't won since then. Both teams have split their previous two divisional games.
4-game trends give Ramjets a 71% chance to win
Yahoo predicts Ramjets 29 - CAPO 21
Hamburglers (2-1-2) @ Flannel (2-3)
Flannel are 2-1 since they got their feet under them after week 2. Hamburglers lost their first game of the season last week. However, this game looks like a throw-away for Flannel. They do not have a starting QB on their roster as I write this and only a part-time RB.
4-game trends -- adjusted for no Peyton -- give Hamburglers a 63% change to win
Yahoo predicts Hamburglers 15 - Flannel 0
Rednecks (2-2-1) @ Mimes (3-2)
Both teams are second in their respective divisions. Mimes get Rivers back from the bye this week but are still without Gore. Rednecks' offense has not been a problem this year and last week they showed a defense.
4-game trends give Rednecks a 55% chance to win
Yahoo predicts Rednecks 31 - Mimes 18
Malleus (3-2) @ IC Lagers (1-3-1)
Malleus may be the best of the Middle Division but have yet to beat someone from either other division. IC Lagers have only 1 win but have been competative all season. This should be a close one.
4-game trends give Lagers a 52% chance to win
Yahoo predicts Malleus 22 - IC Lagers 21
Bill (2-3) @ Beavers (4-1)
Beavers continue to roll their their schedule. After taking out the high-flying Flannel, they get a more modestly scoring Bill's team. I'm guessing that this is NOT going to be close. Yahoo, apparently disagrees.
4-game trends give Beavers a 62% chance to win
Yahoo predicts Bill 18 - Beavers 17
Old No. 7 (2-3) @ Drow (2-3)
Both teams have the same records but I clearly like one better than the other. In the last 4 weeks, Old No. 7 hasn't scored more than 63 points and Drow haven't scored less then 71.
4-game trends give Drow an 83% chance to win
Yahoo predicts Drow 32 - Old No. 7 19
Note: Last week I was 4-2 and Yahoo was 5-1 with predictions and we only differed on one prediction. This week we differ on two: Malleus-Lagers and Bill-Beavers.
