Week 4 Preview
Gut check went 2-3-1 last week to run its predictions to 7-9-2. This is probably my last week of Stephen Colbert style predictions before I break out the stats.
Malleus (1-2) @ Bill (2-1)
Bill is on a two game winning streak and Malleus is on a two game lossing streak. This should be a close game in a division packed like a sardine can.
Gut Check: Bill
Rednecks (1-1-1) @ Old No. 7 (1-2)
Rednecks are looking strong on offense. Old No. 7 haven't looked strong at anything since week 1.
Gut Check: Rednecks
Hamburglers (1-0-2) @ Beavers (3-0)
Beavers dispatched the 2-0 Mimes last week. This week they are visited by the undefeated Hamburglers -- admittedly an unconventional undefeated. But Ham are playing well and these two teams look pretty evenly matched on paper.
Gut Check: Beavers
Flannel (1-2) @ Drow (1-2)
Its entirely possible that neither team should be 1-2. Drow lost a heart-breaker in week 2 and Flannel failed to show week 1. Drow have been very strong the last two weeks, but haven't busted out like Flannel did last week. Really tough match-up for both teams.
Gut Check: Drow
CAPO (1-1-1) @ Mimes (2-1)
Both teams are losing a little steam since week one. CAPO's offense and defense have consistently shrunk since then and Mimes hit a bump in the road last week with the loss of Gore and general offensive malaise.
Gut Check: Mimes
Ramjets(2-1) @ IC Lagers (0-3)
By now, we all probably know how I'm picking this game. That said, it could be very close. Over the last two weeks Lagers scored 63 and 55 -- Ramjets scored 62 and 56. If you throw out Ramjets' week one implossion, these are the same two teams.
Gut Check: Lagers
