Week 6 Rankings
The Good
1. Flannel (no change)I'm giving them a mulligen and assuming all will be right with Peyton's return to the line-up.
4-game means: Offense 54 pts, Defense 30, Total 87
2. Drow (no change)
Almost scored 90+ for the second week in a row. And did it with solid performances all around.
4-game means: Offense 56 pts, Defense 27, Total 82
3. Rednecks (up 3)
Yes this week was impressive, but it did not come out of nowhere. The defense did well for the second week in a row and the offense has never been a problem.
4-game means: Offense 62 pts, Defense 22, Total 82
4. Hamburglers (no change)
I'm going to assume that last week was just a stumble. The offense has been a little inconsistent but we're nitpicking here.
4-game means: Offense 44 pts, Defense 29, Total 82
5. IC Lagers (no change)
The offense hasn't scored less then 54 in the last 3 weeks and they haven't lost during that time.
4-game means: Offense 57 pts, Defense 20, Total 81
6. Malleus (up 1)
Next to Drow, this is the most consistently good team in FLOF lately. They have scored 71 twice and that's the worst its been. Despite that, they's lost twice... the two times they scored more then 71.
4-game means: Offense 52 pts, Defense 24, Total 75
The Bad
7. Beavers (down 4)
Maybe week 5's 107 pt outburst was a dead cat bounce. Both the offense and defense were horrid. Of course, last time we dissed Beavers in the rankings they came back with a roar. Who do they play next week?
4-game means: Offense 32 pts, Defense 31, Total 62
8. Ramjets (no change)
There is no truth to the rumor that John Garner Jim Bishop has turned down the opportunity to take over this team mid-season. The offense looked better for a couple weeks there and then reverted to early-season form.
4-game means: Offense 40 pts, Defense 22, Total 63
9. Mimes (no change)
Mimes played very well last week but the defense has been trying to carry the offense for a couple weeks in a row now.
4-game means: Offense 31 pts, Defense 25, Total 62
10. Old No. 7 (up 1)
A couple weeks ago the defense woke up from a deep sleep. This past week the offense showed up. If the team keeps improving, wins will come.
4-game means: Offense 41 pts, Defense 20, Total 59
The Ugly
11. CAPO (up 1)
Yes. They scored a lot of points last week. But the three weeks prior to that was the worst 3-game stretch we've seen so far this season so I'm with-holding rewards to see what happens next weekend.
4-game means: Offense 28 pts, Defense 10, Total 43
12. Bill (down 2)
The 110 pts they scored in week 2 was the only time the team has scored above the season average so far. And that was a while ago now.
4-game means: Offense 37 pts, Defense 20, Total 58
