Week 1 POWs and Goats
Greg Jennings is Player Of the Week for week 1. In the only close game this week, Jennings was easily the best player on Malleus with 13 pts.
Drew Brees and Adrian Peterson get to share Offensive POW this week. I know Brees scored more, but QBs typicalls do score more. I grade both of them the same. Honrable mention to Tom Brady who became just the 6th player to score over 1,000 pts in his FLOF career. Randy Moss could get there next week as he sits only 2 pts shy of the mark. There are no other active players above 800 career points so Moss could be the last 1K Club member for a while. However, Peyton could start the 2K club before the season is over. He needs 99 points to do that.
Osi Umenyiora runs away with Defensive POW for week 1. He scored 8 more points than the next most productive defensive player this week.
Goat of the Week is Clay.
