Week 2 Rankings
With only 2 games played these are pretty soft rankings. But so what. Changes in relation to the pre-draft rankings.
These Teams Look Promising...
1. Beavers (up 6)
Beavers and Mimes have had two really good outings in a row but I'm giving Beavers the nod based on my bias for offensive consistency.
2. Mimes (up 1)
More like 1B behind Beavers. They haven't been as consistent as Beavers, but the defense picked up the offense in week 1 and the offense didn't need a defense in week 2.
3. CAPO (down 1)
Week 1 was excellent but the defense took last week off when the offense needed a little help.
4. Rednecks (down 3)
Most consistent offense over the first two weeks, scoring over 50 pts in both contests. If only the defense could score more then 11 a game.
These Teams Look Hard to Judge...
5. Old No. 7 (up 3)
Old No. 7 lead the league with 105 combined points in week 1 and wouldn't have beat anyone in week 2 with 54 combined points.
6. Drow (down 2)
The top ranked winless team after week 2. They got unlucky in week two with a strong showing wasted against Bill. They've also been very inconsistent on both sides of the ball.
7. Bill (up 3)
Very similar to Old No. 7 in the Jekyll-Hyde swing from 53 total pts in week 1 to 110 in week 2. The defense looks good though.
These Teams Look Average...
8. Hamburglers (up 1)
A decent week 1 was followed up by a mediocre week 2. More consistent then some teams above them but they haven't shown they can score enough points to regularly win games yet.
9. IC Lagers (up 3)
Tim has done a nice job getting this team competative early. They've had two tough losses decpite decent outings both weeks. On the other hand, neither week did they get robbed.
These Teams Need Help...
10. Malleus (down 4)
You can't write off any roster managed by Haydn, who will likely turn over the whole roster by Thanksgiving, but this group hasn't shown it deserves to stay on his roster so far.
11. Ramjets (no change)
Ramjets have a consistenly average defense so far this year. The offense was horrible in week 1 and just good enough in week 2.
12. Flannel (down 8)
In all fairness to Clay, we only really have one game by which to judge this roster. But in all fairness to Clay, he did that to himself.
