Week 2 PoWs and Goats
Andre Johnson is Player of the Week for week 2. His 19 points was crucial for Rednecks' 4 point victory over IC Lagers. Honorable mention to Eli Manning who outscored his brother to help Ramjets fend off Flannel this week.
Chris Johnson is the run-away Offensive Player of the Week. His 43 points is tied for the 6th best single player effort ever. A week after Drew Brees put up 42 it has been a year for huge scores so far. Honorable mention to Frank Gore whose 35 would probably have been good enough for OPoV any other week.
Charles Woodson is another easy pick for Defensive Player of the Week. His 25 points helped Beavers slap down Old No. 7 this week.
Goat of the Week goes to the CAPO defensive front. Shawne Merriman and Osi Umenyiora combined for 1 pt on the day and CAPO ended up in a tie with Hamburglers. Honorable mentions in the same game for Reggie Wayne and Randy Moss who both scored a single point for their respective teams.
