Franchising Notes
FLOF Teams spent a combined $138.5 on franchising this year -- $11.5 per team. Down just slightly from the $141.3 spent last year -- $11.8 per. Interestingly, slush carry-over from last year to this was almost exactly the same as last year ($72.6 or 6.1 per compared to $72.7 last year).
2008's big spender in Franchising was the Hamburglers who spent $18.2. This year's big "winner" was the Rednecks who spent $23.1. Last year's low man was the Ramjets who spent only $8.2 in franchising. This year, Mimes spent only $6.7.
CAPO was the only team to not franchise at least 8 players (they franchised only 6).
