Week 14 Recap

The last regular season game is in the books and the playoff teams are set. Good luck to those that made it in. And better luck next year to those that didn't.

Hamburglers edge Rednecks (pick=correct)

What I got right: Luck definitely got back on track. The combo of Luck and Charles was indeed too much.

What I got wrong: The game was a lot closer than I thought it was going to be.

The Good: Luck’s return to form this week strengthens the playoff-bound Hamburglers.

The Bad: Ben Tate was a big letdown from last week.

Mimes cruise over Bill (pick=incorrect)

What I got right: Kaepernick did have a bad match up and his offensive output showed it. It was a blowout (for the team I didn't pick).

What I got wrong: Newton and Marshall were nothing to talk about this week.

The Good: Not a lot. The Mimes were not impressive but did enough against almost no defensive effort from Bill.

The Bad: Bill’s defense (see above). Only 7 points.

Dynasty clobbers Capo (pick=correct)

What I got right: Brady was the most competitive player from the Capo squad. Dynasty definitely cruised.

What I got wrong: Capo actually did field something resembling a defense this week.

The Good: It was all good for Dynasty this week. McCoy and Lavonte David had themselves a week.

The Bad: Lamar Miller. For the year.

Old No. 7 survives Malleus (pick=correct)

What I got right: It was an offense versus defense showdown. Manning was the highest scoring QB.

What I got wrong: Murray wasn't even in the top-3 at the RB position.

The Good: Payton Manning. Player of the year.

The Bad: Case Keenum. So much for the ‘future of the franchise’ talk.

Maniacs upend Bronies (pick=incorrect)

What I got right: The offensive scores for both teams did post very similar numbers.

What I got wrong: The Maniacs found a little defense this week.

The Good: Karlos Dansby very nearly won this by himself.

The Bad: C.J. Spiller. Yet another player that disappointed for the entire year.

Drow levels Lagers (pick=incorrect)

What I got right: Nothing. The prediction was a complete whiff.

What I got wrong: Lagers got nowhere near 90 points on offense.

The Good: The Drow look to be back just in time after 2 down weeks. The defense wasn't great, but enough in this case.

The Bad: Matt Stafford and Calvin Johnson combined for 2 points. Against Drow, not happening this week.
