Week 13 Rankings, Playoff Picture, and Predictions

Rednecks were the big gainer this week -- rising 4 spots and increasing their Estimated Win Percentage by nearly 27% after their second really strong game in a row.  Dynasty took the biggest tumble in EWP -- shedding 21% as their offense has stagnated the last two games.  Bill lost the most ranking positions -- falling 5 spots to 9th.

Top Seeds:
The top three seeds for the playoffs are now set.  Bill's loss clinched Drow the number 1 seed.  Bill takes the other bye in the number 2 seed.  Dynasty had clinched the 3 seed last week.

Wild Cards:
Lagers and Hamburglers are guaranteed to meet each other in the first round of the playoffs, but we aren't sure who will host that game yet.  Lagers are one half game ahead of Hamburglers in the standings so a win or Hamburgler loss or tie will give Lagers home field for that match-up.  If Lagers lose or tie and Hamburglers win then Hamburglers would host the game.  Hamburglers beat Lagers in their week 5 game and so hold the tie-breaker should they end up that way.

The final wild card spot is still in doubt.  Mimes still control their destiny.  A Mimes' win or Bronies' loss would vault Mimes into the playoffs.  A Mimes' loss or tie and Bronies win would push Bronies into the last playoff spot.  Whichever team makes it will be headed to Dynasty for their first game of the playoff.

Predictions:
Last week the computer went 3-3 putting its season record at 42-33-3.  Ironically, the last couple weeks have not been good to the computer when it is more confident in its predictions.  The computer is predicting that Bronies will be that team:

Maniacs @ Bronies (66%)

The computer is also predicting that Lagers will host Hamburglers next week:

Rednecks (61%) @ Hamburglers

The other two games have no bearing on the playoffs but could help set the Toilet Bowl match-up:
