Week 10 Rankings; Week 11 & Playoff Predictions
Drow and Malleus moved up 3 spots to take over the top two spots on the rankings. Old No. 7 improved his Expected Win Percentage almost 10% but... Bill shed almost 25% from his EWP and dropped 4 spots in the rankings -- vacating the top spot.
Computer went 5-1 last week to run its season record to 32-26-2 (15-9 when 60%+ confident). Week 11 Predictions:
Old No. 7 @ Drow (79%)
Capo @ Bronies (75%)
Dynasty (58%) @ Maniacs
Bill (54%) @ Hamburglers
Mimes (54%) @ Rednecks
Malleus @ Lagers (52%)
Left Division: Drow's magic number is 1. A win or Lagers' loss will clinch the division crown for Drow. A Drow win and Bill loss will clinch the number 1 seed for Drow. Bronies and Maniacs can not win the division.
Middle Division: Dynasty's magic number is 2. A win for Dynasty and a loss for Malleus would give Dynasty the division championship. Dynasty have no chance to be the number 1 seed. Old No 7 and Capo are very close to losing any chance at the division. A win by Dynasty would eliminate both of them from that possibility. A loss by either would eliminate them as well.
Right Division: Bill's magic number is 3 but they face Hamburglers this week in easily the most important FLOF game of week 11. If Bill wins this weekend, he will need only one more win or one more Hamburglers loss to clinch the Right Division. If Hamburglers win he will be only a half game back of Bill with 3 games to play. Bill has a long shot at the #1 seed and Hamburglers have an even longer shot. Mimes have not yet been eliminated from contention in the division but Rednecks have.
Wild Cards: Everyone is still mathematically in the hunt for a wild card spot. The top two wild cards are very likely to go to Lagers and the runner up in the Right Division. But as of today the 6th seed would be decided by tie-breaker between the three 4-6 team -- Bronies, Maniacs, and Mimes. And no one is more than a game and a half behind those three. The computer projects Bronies to edge out Mimes for that spot based on a better current EWP and a couple easier to project wins on the schedule. Bronies also control a good bit of their own destiny with week 13 and 14 match-ups against Mimes and Maniacs.
