Week 10 Preview

I am back this week with the full predictions write ups. The FLoF regular season is down to the final 5 weeks and we are starting to get an idea of the post-season participants.

Hamburglers (5-3-1) @ Mighty Midtowne Mimes (4-5)

Both teams opened with a little defense with the Hamburglers coming out slightly ahead.  I like to Mimes to keep it close, but in the end I like the offensive match ups for the Hamburglers.

Prediction:  Hamburglers

Hamburglers 31 – Mimes 26

Rednecks (2-6-1) @ Bill (7-2)

Bill opened with 25 points last night. I do like my chances of hanging around in this game with the offense, but the defense should be enough to carry the Bills easily.

Prediction:  Bill

Bill 34 – Rednecks 20

 

Maniacs (4-5) @ Old No. 7 (2-7)

Assuming the Maniacs fill the roster, I think this game is a shootout. Both teams have solid match ups, but neither is known for the defense. Looking at this game, I do like the Maniacs better.

Maniacs 44 – Old No. 7 36

Bronies (4-5) @ Malleus Maleficarum (2-6-1)

RGII put up a great game to open for the Bronies. Likewise, Malleus has some great match ups coming as well.  The difference should come down to the WR positions and I like the Bronies better in that regard.

Prediction: Bronies

Drow (9-0) @ Dynasty (6-3)

Drow had a pretty solid opening last night, but is without the services of Rogers for this game in perhaps one of his toughest opponent. The Dynasty team has some good match up coming, especially with the QB position. I think that makes a difference. I’m going to take the Dynasty squad, although I’m starting to get a gun-shy picking against the Drow, and if Doug wins, this will likely be the last time I pick against him.

Iron City Lagers (5-4) @ Capo Di Tutti Capi (2-6-1)

The Lagers fielded one player last night to barely any result. It shouldn't matter as they are the 2^nd rated team in terms of power and will be playing the team with the worst. The final score should reflect that.
