Week 3 Recap

The computer and I correctly picked 5 winners of the 6 game. Guess Doug was right, and the computer is getting better. I still hold the edge for the year though.

Dynasty blanks Mimes

Computer said Dynasty, I also said Dynasty. Me 1: computer 1.

The Good: McCoy made up for a poor Eli outing. Newcomers Dynasty are 3-0.

The Bad: The Mimes. Both offense and defense.

The Ugly: Seriously, 11 total points?

Hamburglers cruse past Capo

Computer said Hamburglers, as did I. Me 2: computer 2.

The Good: QB position isn’t a concern. Ryan or Luck would have worked this week.

The Bad: Brees and Forte scored well, but didn’t get enough from the WR and K positions.

The Ugly: Double goose eggs from both DB starters for Capo.

Bill takes care of No. 7

Computer said No. 7, I said Bill. Me 2: computer 3.

The Good: Wilson acquitted himself nicely subbing for Newton, but honestly, either would have worked this week.

The Bad: Even Seabass was down this week for the bottle.

The Ugly: Payton Manning has already scored over 100 fantasy points….and No. 7 is still 0-3.

Rednecks fall to Malleus

Computer said Rednecks. I said Malleus. Me 3: computer 3.

The Good: After 2 weeks of mediocre defensive showings, the Hammer came alive with 42 points.

The Bad: Vick fell back to earth after a strong 2 week showing.

The Ugly: The DeMarco Murray trade.

Drow edges Bronies

Computer and I agreed with Drow. Me 4: computer 4.

The Good: The Drow defensive did enough to overcome a poor offensive showing.

The Bad: Preseason favorites RGIII and Spiller have yet to do much.

The Ugly: How much longer will Spiller even have his job at this point?

Lagers crush Maniacs

Computer and I both said Lagers. Me 5: computer 5.

The Good: Stafford to Johnson looks to be rounding into shape for Lagers.

The Bad: Carson Palmer regressed for this game. Upcoming trend?                               

The Ugly: Maniacs rank at the bottom in total defense. The week was more of the same.
