Week 10 Preview

Only 5 games left and we still have everyone all packed together (except Haydn). Is this separation weekend?

Old No. 7 (4-5) @ Capo Di Tutti Capi (3-6)

Statically, these 2 teams are almost evenly matched. But the matchups look to favor the bottle this week.  I like No. 7 to hang some points on Capo.

Prediction:  Old No. 7

 

Export Flannel (4-5) @ Malleus Maleficarum (8-1)

The Malleus win streak came to an end last week. I think this week is the start of another. Looking at the matchups, I don’t envy Flannel. The computer predictions and I agree on this matchup.

Prediction:  Malleus – by a lot

 

N.Y. Hamburglers (5-4) @ Iron City Lagers (4-5)

The Hamburglers have the better record, but the Lager’s probably have the better matchups. Ham got off to a decent start last night, but I don’t think it helps.

Prediction:  Lagers

 

Mighty Midtowne Mimes (4-5) @ Medicine Hat Bronies (4-5)

Even though these 2 teams have identical records, according to the stats department, the Mimes are clearly a stronger team. However, I just got a feeling about the Bronies this week.

Prediction:  Bronies

 

Bill’s Team (5-4) @ Murrysville Drow (5-4)

Drow is fresh off one on the highest scoring games in FLoF history. Offensively, Bill is no slouch either. Neither team has a D to talk about. This should be a high scoring shootout.

Rednecks (5-4) @ Gainesville Random Acts of Violence (3-6)

The computer favors Gainesville to win this one. Until the Redneck’s fix their issues on offense (namely, QB), I don’t disagree with that assessment.
