Monday Night Preview/Week 9 Review
Well it may finally happen, Malleus is down by 9 points going into tonight's game with only Marques Colston able to save their undefeated season. Can he do it? Maybe. Does it really matter? No, not really. I knew my team couldn't keep it up, especially with bye weeks for Rice and Brady. Managed to squeak by last week with Rice gone, but Flacco didn't do quite enough (on a side not, Jay Cutler scored 9 more points than Flacco and would have left me tied going into tonight, that's my own fault for trading while I was winning).
The other big story from yesterday was a ridiculous game for Drow, 121 on offence, mostly from Doug Martin's 53 points (and not to shabby games from Rodgers, Green and Cobb). Poor Lagers, never had a chance in this one.
Not to be overlooked was an impressive game from Andrew Luck for Hamburglers, who are soundly beating Flannel (LeSean McCoy probably can't pull this one out unless he has a game like Martin's).
The other game (besides Hammer vs. Mimes) that should be watched is Capo vs. Rednecks. Rednecks take a 14 point lead and Michael Vick to battle, Capo's Drew Brees, Lance Moore, and Roman Harper. I'm not sure if 14 is enough, but this one could be close.
In the other games: GRAV put the hurt on a depleated Bronies, playing without any DFs, they still have kicker Garrett Hartley, but he's not going to score 32 points; Bill is beating O7, 72 points on O for Bill, good games from Brandon Marshall and Cam Newton.
