FLOF History: Best Starts Ever

Eight teams in FLOF history have won the first 5 games of the season.  Seven of them went on to the playoffs.  Five won the FLOF Bowl that year.  One lost the FLOF Bowl.  One lost a step before the FLOF Bowl.  And the last one is this year's Malleus, who broke the record for best start to a season last week.

7-0, 2004 Drow; finished 10-3 and lost in Playoff Round

6-0, 1999 NY Hicks (now Hamburglers); finished 10-3 and won the FLOF Bowl in his expansion season

6-0, 2004 Rednecks; finished 9-4 and lost the FLOF Bowl

6-0, 2006 Capo; finished 9-4-1 and won the FLOF Bowl in his first year taking over The Deadheads

6-0, 2007 Flannel; finished 9-5 and the FLOF Bowl

5-0, 1998 Beavers; finished 10-3-1 and won the FLOF Bowl

5-0, 2000 Flannel; finished 8-5 and won the FLOF Bowl
