Week 5 Preview
No upsets this week. I pretty much agreed
with the computer predictions.
Hamburglers
(3-1) @ Malleus (4-0)
Undefeated
Malleus hosts a pretty good Hamburgler team. I like some of the Ham’s matchups
this week, but the Hammer’s is better. Got a feeling Ham will do alright, but
will end up overwhelmed.
Prediction: Malleus
remains undefeated
Malleus
46 – Hamburglers 20
Mimes (1-3)
@ Flannel (2-2)
Both teams
have been pretty uneven thus far. Looking at the matchups, I’ll take the
computer’s prediction and call this one for Flannel.
Prediction: Flannel
wins, but not by as much as the +14 the computer predicts
Flannel 28
– Mimes 21
Lagers (3-1)
@ Gainesville (0-4)
ICL= second
strongest team in FLoF. GAV= winless. This is a case where I will take the computer’s +14 and call
it for Lagers.
Prediction: Lagers
keep RAV winless
Lagers 37
– GAV 10
Drow (2-2)
@ Bronies (3-1)
Drow has one
of the better offenses in the league, but will it matter against the second
best defense in FLoF? My guess is no.
Prediction: Bronies kill Drow’s offense this week
Bronies 30
– Drow 18
Bill (1-3)
@ Capo (0-4)
Two
struggling teams looking to get on track before the season slips away. I like
Capo to break into the win column this week.
Prediction: Bill falls on the road
Capo 26 –
Bill 17
Rednecks (2-2)
@ No. 7 (3-1)
The offenses for these 2 teams look very similar
statically. The difference will probably come down to defense and that
advantage is to 7.
Prediction: Rednecks
keep it close, but come up short
No. 7 27
– Rednecks 22

4 Comments:
For the record the computer spits out percentage chance to win, not point spreads.
Well, that is useless...
I should have made this comment earlier but the computer also doesn't take into account that Tim had to start Cassel at QB b/c Stafford and Megatron were on a bye. I would've assumed a win for RAV, but not by as much as he did win. I got lucky this week with Colston, most of my points were on the bench this week.
Didn't expect Cassel to be that bad though. I thought he would have a decent game at home against a BAL D that you can move the ball on this year. Cassel looks to be out of a job.
