Computer Rankings, Week 4 -- It's Haydn's League, We Just Live In It
This week, the computer ranks no longer take into account any preseason predictions and are based solely on the first four weeks of the season. I added a new field to the first table. Luck compares a team's actual win total to what we would expect given the team's recent ability to score points. A positive luck score indicates that were lucky. A negative score indicates that you were unlucky. The number value shows how far away your win total is from the expected. So Capo's luck of -1.8 means they are 1.8 wins below what we would expect based on their scores to date.
The new table below shows all teams' median scores over the last four weeks plus individual scores over that same period of time -- total scores, offense, and defense. Note that the 3-point home field advantage is removed for this calculation.
Based on Estimated Win Percentage, here are the week 5 predictions:
Drow @ Bronies +21%
Hamburlgers @ Malleus +19%
Mimes @ Flannel +14%
Lagers +14% @ GAV
Bill @ Capo +9%
Rednecks @ Old No. 7 +8%
