Week 2
Preview
My previews are back just in time for week 2.
Thursday night is already in the books and outside Capo starting Clay Matthews;
no one was particular strong last night…
Flannel (0-1)
@ Capo (0-1)
As mentioned,
Capo got started with a strong defensive effort with just 1 player in. He has
already matched his defensive output for the entire game last week. However, he
can’t be pleased with Forte’s contribution. Flannel was actually not bad last
week, just happening to play against a stronger team. I suspect Flannel will
put up another decent score in another losing effort.
Prediction: Capo in a low scoring game.
Capo 20 –
Flannel 13
ON7 (1-0)
@ Malleus (1-0)
ON7 ran out
a WR last night to 0 points, while Malleus countered with no one, but still
leads thanks to the home field. ON7 had a pretty good overall game last week
and scored the highest offensive total and would have beaten anyone…except
Malleus. I think that about sums it up for this week as well.
Prediction: Malleus
races to 2-0 and the division lead.
Malleus 33
– ON7 17
Hamburglers
(1-0) @ GRAV (0-1)
GRAV starts
off with 4 points from last week while no one from the Ham team (Ham, GRAV(y)..must
be hungry) has kicked off yet. Both teams had decent showings last week, and
looking at the rosters for each, I just like GRAV’s a little better.
Prediction: Gainesville
gets his first FLoF win.
GRAV 31 –
Hamburglers 25
Mimes (0-1)
@ Drow (0-1)
The Mimes
looked awful last week while Drow looked good on offensive, but lacked any D.
So far, Doug cannot be pleased with Aaron’s start (or Pepper’s either). Without
the offensive to run the score up, this is a good week to knock off the Drow.
And I like Mimes to show better this week than last.
Prediction: Going against the 66% chance to win for
Drow and picking Mimes.
Mimes 26
– Drow 20
Bill (0-1)
@ Bronies (1-0)
The Brownies
(more food) started strong last week, while Bill sputtered with practically no
D. Bron has a pretty decent start already, but I expect to thing even up a tad
with Cam and Chris bouncing back and RGIII coming down a little. Still, won’t
be enough for me to call for it Bill.
Prediction: Bronies move to 2-0.
Bronies 32
– Bill 24
Rednecks
(1-0) @ Lagers (1-0)
Rednecks get
off to a solid kicking start, with the Lagers countering with a little
something of their own.
Lager’s main
offensive guys struggled a little last week, and still posted a pretty solid outing,
while the Rednecks were good, not great. I think the Lager’s guys get it together
this week and down a game Redneck’s team.
Prediction: Rednecks
show some improvement, but not enough
Lagers 38
– Rednecks 31

Really? I'm the only game where you go against the computer?
If I open the season 0-2 including a loss to Mimes (whose team I obviously do not think much of) I may have consider taking up a different fantasy sport.
No offense, Darin...
I probably would have picked you...except for a poor game by Aaron. I think that's the difference in this game.
