Week 7 Review
Some clarity in the Right Division after this week while the Left and Middle Divisions split their games and shake-up their standings.
Right Division
CAPO 52 - Flannel 16
Hamburglers 16 - Ramjets 15
Wow, is CAPO finally pulling away from the pack? They put together their best game of the season while the rest of the division scored predictably badly. Hamburglers just edged Ramjets due to Monday night's kicking game and despite some roster errors. The combination of their win and Ramjets' loss gives CAPO a game lead in the division over everyone. Hamburglers lurk 1.5 games behind. Next week? Same teams, different venues.
Middle Division
Malleus and Old No. 7 win
Rednecks and Bill lose
Malleus crushed Lagers while Rednecks lost a close game against Beavers giving Malleus sole possession of the division lead. Old No. 7 ended a 3 game skid with a convincing win over Mimes and leap-frogged Bill in the standings as Bill put up their worst effort of the season in their loss.
Left Division
Drow and Beavers win
Lagers and Mimes lose
Drow put up 100+ points for the first time this season, get the win, and jump over Lagers and Mimes to claim the division lead. Lagers ended their 3 game win streak with a real stinker while Mimes actually did play well but had their usual bit of opponent luck. Beavers did not score nearly as well as Mimes but made use of home field to just edge out Rednecks and keep pace in the division.
