Monday Night Round-up
Export Flannel @ Bill’s Team
Current score: 15 – 16
Players left: Flannel: Braylon Edwards (WR, NYJ)
Bill: Brett Favre (QB, Min)
The Gunslinger has a new weapon (who I reluctantly started this week), lets see if he can use it. Edwards has scored a TD in his last 3 games – but the Jets have a new weapon too, Santonio Holmes returns this week from suspension – will Edwards still get the love? I’d lean toward Bill taking this one.
N.Y. Hamburglers @ Malleus Maleficarum
Current Score: 0 (-22) – 2
Players left: Hamburglers: None
Malleus: Randy Moss (WR, Min), Nick Folk (K, NYJ)
The Hammer has already won this one, Moss and a kicker just add icing. Right now home field advantage is the only thing keeping this not a tie - but then I get 2 more offensive scores...
Fightin’ Bitin’ Beavers @ Iron City Lagers
Current score: 0 (-2) – 24
Players left: Beavers: Adrian Peterson (RB, Min)
ICL: None
Can the Purple Jesus score more than 26 points? Yes. Can he do it against the Jets? Maybe not. I think this time Steve is asking too much from his RB.
Murrysville Drow @ Mighty Midtowne Mimes
Current Score: 6 – 40
Players left: Drow: David Harris (DF, NYJ), Chad Greenway (DF, Min)
Mimes: None
34 points is a lot to ask of 2 DFs but it could be done. I seriously doubt it though. Drow don’t look so tough when Rodgers has a bad game…of course if Rivers had a bad game Mimes would be almost guaranteed to lose; but Rivers still puts up fantasy points even when he fumbles away the game to the Raiders (I hate the Chargers by the way).
Capo di Tutti Capi @ Rednecks
Current score: 15 – 10
Players left: Capo: None
Rednecks: Percy Harvin (WR, Min)
This one could be close…I actually think that Rednecks could pull this out. Capo should be rooting for any TDs Favre throws to go the way of his former WR.
Roger’s Ramjets @ Old No. 7
Current score: 14 – 2
Players left: Ramjets: Antonio Cromartie (DB, NYJ)
O7: Ryan Longwell (K, Min)
When Jason loses this one it will be his fault for not resetting his roster from last week’s bye. Usual starter Miles Austin would have scored 16 vs. Knox’s 1,and he might have started 2 DFs.
