Quarter Pole Rankings
We're all 4 games into the season. Everyone has played 1 team from each other division and 2 teams inside your own division. Its a nice point to assess the league. Today, we rank. Tomorrow, we look at each division more closely.
A Cut Above
1) Mimes, no change
Have yet to score less then 88 points in a game. Offensive median is 65, defensive is 41. Those are crazy scores.
Very Good
2) Drow, up 1
Last week was only average but two average games surrounding 2 great games still makes for a solid team. Just not as good as Mimes. Drow median score for their first 4 games is a very good 84 but Mimes' is 100.
3) No. 7, down 1
Last week was their first clunker of the season but generally their scores look a lot like Drow's with a median total of 82.
Solid
4) Lagers, up 3
The next 6 teams are very close right now. Lagers had a real stinker week 3 but have otherwise played very well including an excellent game week 2.
5) CAPO, down 1
The offense fell down this week and the team generally did not play well. But their first 3 games were all very solid.
6) Malleus, up 2
After a rough first 2 weeks, Malleus has had 2 very good outings in a row, especially from the defense.
7) Beavers, up 4
Beavers rode a huge defensive effort last week to a win over Mimes but don't mistake that game as a fluke since the offense has largely righted itself after completely failing in week 1.
8) Rednecks, down 2
This team has been crazy consistent. Total points scored in 3 games: 65, 67, 68. The one "outlier" was a 76 in week 3.
9) Bill, down 4
Seems like Bill is developing an on-again, off-again problem alternating good and bad performances.
Bottom of the Barrel
10) Flannel, down 1
Flannel's offense started out ok and the defense played well for 2 games. But for the last 2 games both have stunk. The offense scored 8 total points this week.
11) Hamburglers, up 1
Three games with total scores of 62 or less.
12) Ramjets, down 2
Two consecutive scores in the 30s. Its a good thing Roger also owns the team or he'd get fired.
