Week 5 Awards
Player of the Week and Offensive PoW:
Kyle Orton scored the second most points this week (24). Really. And he did it for the previously winless Brawlers in their 15 pt upset of the previously undefeated Drow. Seriously, a QB from Chicago!
Defensive PoW:
Antoine Winfield probably would have been Player of the Week in most other weeks. He'll have to settle for Defensive honors after swiping a win from the cursed Ramjets and potentially saving the Buffalo Bill's season.
Goat of the Week:
Matt Schuab was a possibility here but his 0 pts was actually more then he would have scored back in week 3 and even a respectable (for him) 9 pts would not have made a difference here. Jason Campbell's 6 pts was 8 pts lower then his Yahoo scored average (without yardage bonuses) and after the commish goads the coach to put you in the line-up that's a pretty weak performance when your team (Bill's Team) loses by 8.
Bench Player of the Week:
Aaron Rodgers was supposed to be iffy to play. He would have scored 24 pts. Matt Schuab got sick and didn't play. Drow lost by 15. Brandon Jacobs gets an honorable mention. He also would have scored 24 points but his replacement, Marshawn Lynch, did score 3 and Capo won anyways.
