Week 4: Flannel Steal Victory to Go 4-0
26 Flannel @ 20 CAPO
This game ended up being all about defense, more specifically James Harrison coming up big Monday night to erase CAPO's late lead and keep Flannel's record spotless. Harrison's 19 pts was more then the entire CAPO defense and made up for Flannel's lack of a RB this week. Flannel extend their lead in the Right Division to 2 games and get Peyton and Addai back for next week. CAPO fall to 2-2 but remain in second in the division.
42 Hamburglers @ 18 Ramjets
I guess Karma took the day off. Oh, and we had an LDT sighting. Tomlinson lead a huge offensive output by Hamburglers that put this game out of reach early. That gets Hamburglers up off the mat with their first win, while Ramjets remain one of two remaining winless teams.
1 Buffalo Bills @ 19 Mimes
After I spent last week talking about how these teams were better then their records, the ended up looking a lot more like their records this weekend. Buffalo's defense kept them in the game late until Ray Lewis put the hammer down Monday night while Hines Ward came up with nothing to counter him. The win gets Mimes back to .500 while Bills fall to 1-3.
16 Old No. 7 @ 37 Drow
The Drow defense put together a huge effort led by Woodson's 20 pts. The big difference in this game was that the Drow defense got the big plays and Old No. 7 did not. Drow acquired 1.5 sacks, 1 INT, 5 PDs, 1 Fum, and 1 TD. Old No. 7: 2 PDs. Drow remain among the undefeated while Old No. 7 fall to 2-2.
13 Malleus @ 34 Beavers
Beavers bounced back from their week 3 debacle with a solid outing on both sides of the ball. Malleus put together their best offensive game of the season, but still below average. In the end TE Jason Witten contributed big-time to the Beaver win and Malleus did buy the RB they coveted who had a bye this week. Beavers stay only a game behind Drow in the Left as the only 3-1 team in FLOF while Malleus drop to 1-3.
16 Bill's Team @ 12 Brawlers
I predicted that there would be a bunch of close games this weekend, just not this game. I did not figure on a combined 1 pt from Carson Palmer and Marion Barber or 38 from Favre. But Brawlers had too many others not perform well with a combined -1 pts from Chris Perry, L.J. Smith, and Lito Shepard. So Bill remains undefeated and Brawlers remain winless but this was a near thing for both teams.
