Week 4 Awards
Player of the Week:
The bye forced Flannel to play without a RB and with Flacco instead of Peyton Manning and CAPO had a decent lead going into Monday night when this week's PoW, James Harrison, scored 19 defensive points to key a huge swing and keep Flannel undefeated.
Offensive Player of the Week:
Brett Favre's 38 pts were the most scored in a game so far this year as he single handedly tried to get Brawlers their first win.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Charles Woodson's 20 pts were pretty decisive in keeping Drow undefeated with a win over Old No. 7.
Goat of the Week:
With a gimpy Westbrook, Favre needed someone else to provide a little support in Brawlers' effort for win #1... Chris Perry, averaging nearly 9pts per game on the bench over his last 3 games, actually made things worse with his -1 pt game.
Bench Player of the Week:
Our brand new award for the player that most needed to get off his team's bench and into the game. The first ever Bench PoW goes to Lamar Woodley, CAPO just picked him up in free agency but did not give him the start. Mario Williams put up 1 tackle. Lamar Woodley: 8 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 2 fumbles, and a touchdown = 24 pts. CAPO lost by 6.
