Week 1 Computer Rankings
The computer has a lot more data than it did last week, but still just one week. In the past I've compared scores to results from the past 2 years to provide a nice large context. Obviously we can't do that right now. But here's what the computer spits out with a week's worth of data.
I'm pleasantly amused that week 1 is not too far off from the preseason rankings. Below is everyone's scores from week 1 minus home field.
It's one week, but the median score was 96.5. That would have been a top 2 score most weeks over the last 5 years and is about 20-25 points more than past seasons. Median offense and defense last week were both about 10 points more than past years. Defense a little more so than offense.
Predictions for week 2
Computer was 5-1 last week! I'm going to chalk that up to luck as much as anything. Predictions for this week in order of the computer's confidence in the pick (most confident on top).
Lagers over Bronies
Dynasty over Hamburglers
Old No. 7 over Bill
Drow over Wolfpack
Rednecks over Malleus
Camp Adventure over Mimes
