Week 11 Playoff Scenario Updates
Left Division:
Drow continue to control their own playoff destiny. If they win out, they will be the #2 seed in the playoffs but it could take that just to win their division. A win this weekend plus losses by Mimes and Rednecks would guarantee at least a wild card for Drow.
Lagers can still win the division but need Drow to stumble, preferably against another Left Division team. Right now Drow have a better divisional record at 3-1 to Lagers' 2-2. On the other hand, Lagers have dibs on the first wild card spot right now with a win earlier this year against Bronies.
Bronies could also win the division and have the "advantage" of playing both Drow and Lagers the last two weeks of the season. They also have a leg-up on the masses for a wild card spot, but also have the hardest remaining 3 games of the season -- starting with Malleus next week, they will play the top 3 ranked teams by the computer.
RAV are 3 games behind Drow and 2 games behind everyone else in the division and may not have any chance of winning the division, but its too complicated for me to figure out this week. RAV are certainly still in the wild card race but probably need to win at least 2 of their last 3 games. A loss this week and wins by Lagers and Bronies very well might eliminate RAV from the playoffs.
Middle Division:
Malleus clinched the division last weekend. This weekend, they clinched the #1 seed in the playoffs. Only Drow can match their record by the end of the year, but Malleus beat Drow earlier this year. Hadyn can now officially shut it down and prepare for the playoffs.
Capo is in the middle of the wild card scrum and may need some help to get in but winning 2 of their last 3 would be a good first step. Capo will also have an eye peeled on the Right Division melee this weekend.
Flannel and Old No. 7 are pretty much in the same boat and play each other in the last game of the season. Each probably needs to win at least 2 of their last 3 and both need help to pick up a wild card spot.
Right Division:
The entire division is tied and 2 of the last 3 weeks will feature divisional games. Nothing will be clinched this weekend, but half of these teams will suddenly be a game back with only 2 to play.
Bill has an edge with 3 wins in the division already and can win the division by winning out.
Mimes can flip the table on Bill this weekend. If Mimes beat Bill, they will gain control of the division having already beat Rednecks twice this year and a chance to knock off Hamburgers in the seasons' last game.
Rednecks need some help to win the division. They have games remaining against Hamburglers and Bill but lost both games against the Mimes earlier and so really need someone to beat them.
Hamburglers are in a similar position to Rednecks: they can take care of Mimes and Rednecks themselves but lost both games to Bill earlier this year and need someone else to beat them if Hamburglers want a chance at the division.
