Week 8 Preview
2-5 Ramjets @ 4-3 Capo
This is the first meeting of two teams I think will be fighting it out for the division by the end of the season. But that prediction is based on Capo treading water for the rest of the season while the Ramjets nearly run the table. So the two games they will play against each other are key moments for this division's future.
Vegas Line: Ramjets by 3.5
2-5 Hamburglers @ 4-3 Flannel
Flannel desperately need to end their 3-game skid or see an early 4-0 mark completely erased 4 weeks later. I don't give Hamburglers much of a chance for the rest of the season, but if LDT comes alive, I suppose stranger things have happened.
Vegas Line: Flannel by 2.5
4-3 Beavers @ 5-2 Bill's Team
Both teams have winning records but I'm not convinced about either team's future. They both seem capable of doing well or falling apart. That said, Beavers have definitely played better lately.
Vegas Line: Beavers by 3
4-3 Mimes @ 3-4 Old No. 7
Both of these teams played really badly last week, especially on offense. Both teams are in the middle of very competitive division races. But Old No. 7 has yet to prove it can deal with Romo's loss and must do without Forte this week as well.
Vegas Line: Mimes by 8.5
6-1 Drow @ 3-4 Buffalo Bills
Both teams are coming off solid performances that netted them wins. For Buffalo it was their usual good performance in an odd week. For Drow it was their first good game following a good game since weeks one and two. So this game is all about consistency. Can Drow do it for a third week in a row? Can Buffalo break their season-long pattern?
Vegas Line: Buffalo Bills by 3.5
1-6 Brawlers @ 4-3 Malleus
Malleus have won three in a row despite playing sub-par their last two outings. Brawlers have lost all but one game all season by playing sub-par. That said, Brawlers could be getting healthy again with rumored appearances by their two best players: Colston and Westbrook. Will it be enough to score above average?
Vegas Line: Malleus by 16.5
