Week 2: Bill Topples Bills; Left Go 3-1 Over Right
42 Bill's Team @ 17 Buffalo Bills
John's Buffalo Bills are actually playing really well... but last week they ran into 100 pts of CAPO buzz-saw. This week Bill's Team proclaims themselves the real Bill team with a 97 pt game driven by the huge offensive output of Marion Barber and Brandon Marshall. Bill claims sole possession of first in the Middle Division with their perfect record.
11 CAPO @ 29 Beavers
A week after exploding for 64 offensive points, CAPO falls short for 39 points. Brees and Moss just did not show up this week while Beavers' DFs brought the wood to the shed with a combined 28 pts and run their record to 2-0.
8 Hamburlgers @ 54 Mimes
Rivers now has 52 pts in the first two games of the season. His 31 this week lead the beat-down but he got solid support from the rest of the team, especially the Mime receivers and DBs. And suddenly Hamburglers are sputtering to 0-2 on the season.
4 Malleus @ 55 Old No. 7
Well, clearly I picked Old No. 7 to win this game... but I clearly did not see this coming. Wow. Anquan Boldin just blew up this week at the same time that Derek Anderson throws in -1 to compliment two goose eggs from the Malleus defense.
36 Ramjets @ 48 Drow
Big games from Eli and Portis and Chris Chambers got countered by another strong Drow defensive effort and a big showing from Aaron Rodgers and Earnest Graham. Drow were lucky to escape with the win after this slug-fest, but they do maintain their perfect mark. Ramjets hope to build off this, next week.
42 Flannel @ 18 Brawlers
Yea, we kind of figured that Flannel would win this game, but give them credit for winning two games in a row that they should have won... and won them convincingly. Brawlers, meanwhile, have to deal with the Westbrook problem: Brian Westbrook scored 24 pts this week -- the rest of the Brawlers scored 24 combined.
