GAME OF THE WEEK

Mighty Midtowne Mimes (4-5) @ Iron City Lagers (6-3)

Lagers have won 3 straight. Mimes are on the board first, but not a very impressive showing with Rivers and Tolbert. I am not crazy about Stafford this week for the Lagers, but I do like Foster to have a good day.

Prediction: Lagers make it 4 in a row.

Lagers 30 – Mimes 14

Fightin' Bitin' Beavers (6-3) @ Murrysville Drow (4-5)

Beavers have also won 3 straight. Drow is struggling lately. I think Doug rebounds this week behind Rodgers.

Prediction: Drow at home.

Drow 27 – Beavers 22

Bill's Team (4-5) @ Capo Di Tutti Capi (4-5)

Two teams with the same record, but vastly different power ratings. I think Capo wins big. I still don’t trust CJ to answer with anything.

Prediction: Capo.

Capo 33 – Bill 12

Rednecks (5-3-1) @ Roger's Ramjets (5-4)

My record is better than it should be, mostly due to luck. Roger has struggled in the last couple of games, but I think he is in line to rebound with Schaub and Jackson, although it should be close.

Prediction: Roger at home.

Ramjets 24 – Rednecks 20

Old No. 7 (2-7) @ Export Flannel (4-4-1)

ON7 is the new worst in FLoF. Flannel has been inconsistent, but competitive. I like Flannel here with McCoy, but a subpar game from Manning will keep it from getting to out of hand.

Prediction: Flannel.

Flannel 24 – ON7 7

 

Malleus Maleficarum (7-2) @ N.Y. Hamburglers (2-7)

If you look at power rating, this should be a cake walk for Malleus. I think the matchups this week work in Hamburlgers favor, and I need an upset to call.

Prediction:  Hamburlgers uses home field to surprise Malleus.
