Week 1: Bills Lose Brady and Game, Vegas Line Goes 1-5
Buffalo Bills 22 @ CAPO 36
I still love the Brady v. Kansas City match-up. Too bad for Buffalo that Brady only got to see about 5 minutes of it. In defense of the line, it might have been spot on if Brady had played a full game. Big win for CAPO, who continue where they left off last season. Good news for Buffalo is that they put up the second best score in FLOF this week, pretty much without Brady.
Vegas Line: Bills by 4.5
Drow 20 @ Mimes 8
Good thing I invoked the Vegas Line curse. Oh, and thanks to Haydn for providing the bulliten board material for my DBs. Hobbs and McGee put up 35 pts to bail out Drow on a day when Mimes' offense actually played respectably.
Vegas Line: Mimes by 2.5
Beavers 35 @ Brawlers 25
This was my upset special of the week. Which is apparently more of a kiss of death then a big vegas line. This game should not have been this close, but Beavers packed it up Monday night after McNabb executed the beat-down. Of course, Brawlers could have helped their cause by playing a kicker. Its not hard, costs $2 million in free agency. Of course, I think they played multiple games without a kicker last year too and went to the playoffs, so what do I know.
Vegas Line: Brawlers by 4.5
Bill's Team 11 @ Ramjets 0
Kurt Warner and Wes Welker did not take advantage of match-ups I thought they would like. Roger got -1 total points from his WRs -- I did not see that coming. Bill's offense did not perform real well either, but his D came up big (a theme this week). I think I picked Bill to win his first like six games last year, so I still owe him 5 more.
Ramjets by 0.5
Old No. 7 2 @ Flannel 16
The wiskey bottle has more fight in it then I suspected. Oh, and you're welcome for my genius trade of Cutler straight up for Leinart. But Flannel's defense spoiled what would have been a huge upset, led by James Harrison's 20 pts. Mea Culpa: When I saw that Flannel had traded for a defensive player in the offseason, I admit that I figured Steve had fleeced him. So this game was basically God telling me I have no idea what I'm doing here.
Flannel by 7.5
Malleus 25 @ Hamburglers 20
Well Hamburgler did not really start O'Sullivan. Which was good because it made this Vegas Line look better. This was actually a nail-biter with Hamburglers holding a slim lead going into Monday night when D.J. Williams out-dueled Champ Bailey to give Malleus a win.

Assuming AP doesn't crap the bed and fumble a bunch of times, (this next part should be said aloud with a bit of musicallity in your voice) take your upset special and stick it where the sun don't shine.
