Week 1 Rankings: CAPO Capture Top Spot
1. CAPO, up 2
On one hand, Brady's loss is CAPO's gain. On the other, will Moss implode now? Does it really matter?
2. Buffalo Bills, down 1
And to think that they almost beat CAPO without Brady. But is Turner for real or is any RB against Detroit that good?
3. Hamburglers, no change
I know, they lost game one and didn't score a lot to boot. But much of the problem was on defense and we all know how sketchy defenses can be so I'm giving them a pass. But it better not happen again.
4. Beavers, up 2
The offense is better then it looks since A.P. took the week off on account of not being needed to defeat Brawlers.
5. Flannel, up 2
The offense was only OK, but it could improve if Peyton shakes off the rust before his offensive line gets him killed. The defense has proven it can put up points.
6. Drow, down 2
Jason recently noted that my roster should be good in 2010 or so. He's probably right about the offense. Can't rely on the D to put up 42 pts every week.
7. Mimes, up 1
Have we sold this offense short? Lets face it Rivers and Gore have some talent. If they can both put it together, Mimes will finally get out of the cellar.
8. Bill, down 3
The second worst offensive performance of the week. Is Carson Palmer in that much trouble this season or is Baltimore's defense that good?
9. Malleus, no change
This team is probably better then 9th best in the league. My gut tells me they will end up 6th or 7th but I'm just not sure which of the teams above will fall below them yet.
10. Old No. 7, up 2
Hm. Maybe they will get favored a week or two down the road.
11. Brawlers, no change
Favre: back or just back against Miami? Move this team up a spot or two when they acquire a kicker.
12. Ramjets, down 2
One of only two teams whose defense outscored their offense this week. But it was mostly due to offensive ineptitude not defensive excellence.
