Rednecks Survive Lager Comeback to Face Drow in FLOF Bowl 18

It did not look good early for Lagers, but by the end of the night Demaryius Thomas, C.J. Anderson, and Reggie Nelson had added 49 points to their score and fallen only 4 points shy of a FLOF Bowl appearance.  This will certainly be a morning of what-ifs for Lagers: what if Brandon Marshall had played (I didn't see that coming and by the time it did, Lagers had no other options)?  What if Emmanuel Sanders had gotten a start (but who would you have benched)?  But down that road lies madness.  Instead Lagers will have the fish story of a near fabulous comeback.

Dynasty, on the other hand, did not get close to a comeback as Peyton had a forgettable night and Drow advance despite A.J. Green's goose egg.

In two weeks Rednecks and Drow will be the all-time FLOF leaders in FLOF Bowl appearances (Drow with 6 and Rednecks with 5).  Although this will be Rednecks first appearance since 2007.

Rednecks appeared in 4 FLOF Bowls over the span of 5 years from 2003 to 2007 but did not win one.  Drow will be appearing in their 3rd consecutive FLOF Bowl and shooting for a third consecutive win.  Hamburglers and Lagers have previously made 3 consecutive.  Deadheads previously won consecutive FLOF Bowls but no one has won three in a row.

This will be a re-match of FLOF Bowl 7 back in 2003.  Amazingly, the first ever FLOF Bowl rematch.
